Linda Benedetti
Miss Beloit 1970

Linda Benedetti mentioned having a great sponsor in the Miss Beloit Pageant, Bill Bryden.  She has always been in the field of hospitality, managing restaurants and hotels.  Linda was director of sales for the Hoffman House in Janesville and Rockford.  She spent 10 years in Beloit owning and running Benedetti’s Supper Club.  She eventually moved to Las Vegas to open the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.  Presently she is the Executive Director of the Wedding Chapel in downtown Las Vegas where over 800 weddings a month and more than that for vow renewals are held.  People come not only from the United States but many foreign countries.  The wish is to have Elvis sing at their ceremony (and of course, she knows Elvis personally and arranges it.)  As Miss Beloit Teen and then Miss Wisconsin Teen, Linda was involved during the most popular time of pageants.  School was closed and the children bused to Rockford to wish her good bye and good wishes as she traveled to the national pageant.
