Lisa Staley Elliott
Miss Beloit 1967

Lisa Staley Elliott competed in the Miss Beloit Pageant in a gown made by her mother who hand stitched each pearl onto the brocade.  Her official chaperone was Joyce Anderson who became a dear friend.  She remains grateful for the experiences and people she met while representing the City of Beloit. It was an honor and privilege to pass the crown onto her sister, Michele, the following year.  She graduated from Southern Methodist University in Texas and is now retired after a career as an adjudicator in state government. She married Clay Elliott of Beloit and they have two sons, two grandsons, two granddaughters and are expecting their fifth grandchild.
